From Sunday the 6th of June, Germany will not consider Italy a country at risk anymore. Therefore, those who will enter Germany after a stay in Italy will not have to undergo the compulsory quarantine nor will have to register anywhere or have negative test. The negative test result stands compulsory for those travelling to Germany by plane.
In others EC countries such as Austria, if you travel with other means of transportation rather than by plane, you can be tested after you get back home from your stay in a “normal” risk categorized country, such as Italy. For Austria you have 24 hours after you enter the country.
